About Mike
Michael Friedmann is a consultant/advisor and private instructor in finance, accounting, economics and Excel modeling, and business strategy/communications.
Michael worked as a consultant at IBM, tracking financial- and operations performance, before going to work as a research assistant in the marketing department at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
In 2011, he launched a side business, tutoring economics, accounting, finance, and statistics to undergraduates, though his clientelle quickly grew to include MBA- and other graduate students from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU/Stern, Princeton, Penn/Wharton, Chicago/Booth, and about 40 other top schools.

In 2013, Mike was hired by Harvard Business School to help make economics curriculum more accessible to students from backgrounds outside of accounting and finance. In this role, he also served as a writing/editing consultant for Harvard Business School case studies, as well as articles in Health Affairs, Science Magazine, and The American Economic Review.
