About Mike

Michael Friedmann is a consultant/advisor and private instructor in finance, Excel modeling, accounting, economics and business strategy.

 

Michael worked as a consultant at IBM, tracking and forecasting financial- and operations performance, before going to work as a research assistant in the marketing department at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and for various economics and social-science researchers at Harvard University.

 

In 2011, he launched a business tutoring economics and related quantitative subjects to undergraduates, though his clientele quickly grew to include MBA and other graduate students from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU/Stern, Princeton, Penn/Wharton, Chicago/Booth, and about 40 other schools.

Michael has provided one-on-one coaching and group training to clients including:

 

  • Investment banking analysts from Lion Tree and Credit Suisse

  • Research fellows at Harvard Business School and Harvard's program on US-Japan relations

  • Entrepreneurs, attorneys, c-level executives, management consultants and real-estate professionals
